spring things

I love this time of year.

Spring energy.

fresh air.

fresh blooms.

renewed, refocused, recharged spirit.

new life + new hope.

Sharing a few highlights from life lately ...

Random sitings like these potted herbs + buds on an antique cart outside of Whole Foods.

Fun bursts of color + pattern from a line I'm now repping.

Discovering new favorite places + pretty cocktails,

and artful finds from a roadtrip to Wilmington, NC.

Plus inspiration from High Point Spring Market. Always love the creativity + styling of showroom vignettes  layered with high-quality furnishings, textures, art, and light.

This line of hand-thrown ceramics always has my heart! dm me for info.

New lamp. New light! Perfect for a refresh.

Also ideal for this time of renewal... Natural linens.

Especially fresh flax linen fabrics + finished goods, like these perfectly spring-fresh pastels.

And of course, upholstery goodness - in leather + velvet. Reach out to learn more, get trade pricing + custom quotes.

Jonathan Wesley custom banquette

Currently obsessed with mixing in layers of vintage.

Loved re-discovering PRB Collection (you know I love the initials:)

in the ever-chic 313 Space.

... and then finding some vintage gems of my own on a recent thrift.

Hope your spring is giving you new life too!

Soak it in + let me know what has you energized + inspired.

holiday refresh + natural red oak hardwood floors

happy new year! i hope your Christmas 2022 was beautiful + refreshing!

Though many of you follow along on Instagram, I wanted to take a moment to share my hardwood floor refinish + install here on the blog, figuring it would be the perfect place to pin images if you're looking to refresh your interior too.

I know there are so many resources out there, but decisions to renovate are always an evolution. I tapped into advice from other interior designers, gathered images and created mood boards on milanote (love that app). Painting a fresh coat of Chantilly Lace (inspired by Isabellawas the perfect place to start, then painting the stair railings black truly transformed the space (here's the pin that swayed me). The key though was installing new hardwoods + refinishing the originals. We opted for a natural finish using Bona, hiring local experts from On Point Flooring. It was quite a task making this home project work amidst life's crazy, but oh so worth it.

Here's a sneak peek into my home this past holiday. All the ornaments, wreaths + bottlebrush trees are packed up now and I'm ready for the reset of a new year. How about you?

wishing you + yours much joy, goodness, peace, and pretty moments in 2023!

loving lately

Just checking in to share a few loves lately. Like

Natural movement in stone
Sun shadows
Gold fixtures + faucets
B+W art
Vintage glass
and
Pretty desserts

Just paying the inspiration forward.

I have long admired Athena Calderone of Eyeswoon and her inspiring kitchen with open shelving dreams, wall sconces to die for + all around swoon-worthy inspiration for "living beautiful." Of course, I'm also loving her podcast "More Than One Thing." If you haven't taken a listen yet, do yourself a favor and do so asap.

I also saved this stunning kitchen nook of friend + designer Kelley Vieregg. I always love the simplicity and beauty of a tulip table, a built-in banquette and striking B+W art.

This vintage glass inspiration is from one of my personal Instagram favorites Ashley Kane. It is definitely motivating me to take a trip, virtual or otherwise to do a little vintage shopping.

And though my recent Valentine charcuterie may not have looked quite as amazing as Athena's kitchen spread, I enjoyed making beautiful food in February to enjoy with family.

My most recent discovery for baking inspo + visual candy (literally + figuratively) is Zoe Bakes. I just watched her tutorial of creating a rustic Pavlova (a twist on this tutu-shaped meringue-magic dessert), and I'm ready to dive in.

What's been inspiring you lately? Do tell.

Happy March ya'll! xo

fall mood + current crushes

hey all. i hope you're well, staying healthy and able to seize the season and enjoy a little fall. i love these crisp mornings, colorful skies + cozy feels. i've been writing some fall-inspired blog posts over at Isabella, so link on over and take a read for inspiration. I often share my latest musings on Instagram, but thought i'd gather a few random thoughts + finds here.

A prop stylist is always foraging, and fall is the perfect time to bring the outdoors in. i love finding fresh branches with architectural shape + interest. As for my fall mood 2020, this collage gives you a hint ...

Fall Moodboard - Patti Borrelli - Isabella Style Studio

Feeling those neutrals, sunlit and candlelit good vibes and pursuing simplicity in interiors + in style. Gathering fall on daily walks in nature. And striving to see the beauty in the every day.

{and these yummy candles too}

i've been pinning fall inspiration + better yet trying to live it. As always, i'm drawn to heirloom pumpkins in shades of white, mint green and pale pinkish orange.

and finding some inspiration in Boone visiting my college daughter Sofia. This is one of our favorite go-to's for plants + pumpkins - The Mustard Seed Market.

i'm loving my girl's minimal apartment aesthetic + her passion for organic living. Follow along on her Instagram for healthy recipe ideas + organic style inspo.

{loving this Pumpkin Bread, made by sofiajane, thanks to Simple Mills}

i found a few more pins that have me craving to create, paint + style spaces.

Always + forever inspired by Athena Calderone {Eyeswoon}And currently obsessing over some particular podcasts, like "More Than One Thing," "How I Built This," and Domino's "Design Time" to name a few. Especially into the episode featuring Jenna Lyons. Such a style icon! Plus that pink sofa. So good! Here's the link to the episode if you haven't listened yet.
